London Network Maintenance (Resolved)
  • Priority - Critical
  • Affecting System - London
  • From the DC:

"As you may or may not be aware, on the 22nd of June 2018, Hydra Communications acquired Bandwidth Technologies.

As part of this acquisition we now own their entire network, and as part of this we're going to be migrating our ASN from 200039 to 25369 this morning between the hours of 6-9AM BST. During this period there may be a 5-10 minute period of downtime whilst we update routing / MPLS paths on our current routers under the AS 200039.

Once this is complete we will be moving onto the next phase of upgrades which include reinforcing the network in London, and also adding additional transit in Amsterdam before servers go live in the next 1-2 months. That's right it's finally happening!

As per normal should be run into any issues we'll be sure to update this status post with more details.

Thank you for your patience and continued support!"

London, UK Network Maintenance (Resolved)
  • Priority - Critical
  • Affecting System - LON-CLOUD-01 (AVOCADO)
  • Complete.

Our DC in London,UK will be performing a maintenance, please see below:

The day has finally come that we're ready to put our new MX960 router live in production.

We're looking to go ahead with doing this, this very evening (02/05/2018) at approximately 23:00 BST.

During this time we expect customers to experience a brief outage between 1 & 5 minutes whilst we switch over the patch cables within our network cab from the previous MX240 to the new MX960.

We'll also be adding an additional 20Gbps of upstream capacity this evening.

This is but the 1st stage of our network upgrade plans, but the good news is that the future plans which include bringing online additional points of presence and carriers don't involve any service outages.

Thank you for your support and patience.

    Kind regards,

    Zare NOC.

DC UPDATE #1 Unfortunately we're running about an hour behind schedule.

The switch over should occur around 00:00 +/- 10 minutes.

DC UPDATE #2  Some VLAN's are currently not working as they should. We are sorting through these now and repairing any issues that the swap to the MX960 has unfortunately caused.

    We apologise for the inconvenience.

VASTITUDE UPDATE #3 We are working with the DC to investigate the current downtime.
